Silk VS Satin Sheets?
Do not be perplexed by silky sheets. Unlike silk, which is a natural substance, satin is a synthetic fiber. In reality, satin is only a name for fabric. Silk can be used to make satin, however polyester and other synthetic fibers can also be used. As a result, it is far less expensive than pillowcases made entirely of silk. Read the fabric label carefully before making a silk purchase to ensure you are getting pure silk and not silk satin or counterfeit silk.
